Authors of short papers presented at Compumag 2013 are invited to submit 4-page full papers which will be reviewed for possible publication in IEEE Transactions on Magnetics. This review will be performed according to the IEEE standards, and the papers will have to be uploaded via the Manuscript Central of IEEE Transactions on Magnetics. You can upload the 4-page full paper at the following page:

If you are unsure about whether or not you have an account for the IEEE Manuscript Central, please follow the instructions given on the webpage linked above.

The deadline of the 4-page full paper submission is
24 June 2013, 12 pm
29 June 2013, 12 pm (CEST).

The templates and technical instructions for preparing the 4-page full papers:

Please note that the paper ID must be marked in the page header, in the format "CMP-###".

2-page short papers (expired)

You are invited to submit 2-page short paper to COMPUMAG 2013. The short paper should be a pdf file and should follow exactly the format outlined in the template file. You can use LaTeX, Microsoft Word or Writer to prepare a short paper. Please use one of the following template files:

Please check if your pdf file appears correctly in a pdf reader! This is especially important when using nonstandard fonts that are sometimes not embedded in the pdf file.

When preparing your short paper, please keep in mind the following:

  1. The Abstract must clearly state the novelty of the work regarding the numerical computation of electromagnetic fields.
  2. The keywords of your paper must be chosen from the IEEE keyword list.
  3. Adequacy of references is one of many factors to be considered by COMPUMAG paper reviewers. It is strongly suggested that the short paper should contain 5-8 references, with significant proportion of those having appeared in recent years in IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, and that self-citations should be limited as much as reasonable. In the full paper, about 10-15 references will be required.

You can submit your 2-page short paper via the ConfTool system of the Conference:

If you are a PhD student, you might be interested in the application for a free participation or reduced registration fee. Please see the conditions in the Registration menu!
