Important information&dates:

  • Normal rate on-site registration is available to delegates with no presentation at the Conference.
  • With a full-registration or a student registration, 1 paper can automatically be registered.
  • With a full-registration, 2 extra papers can be registered. Each extra paper costs 100 EUR. No extra paper is allowed with a student registration. Each paper has to be registered and presented by one of its co-authors.
  • Full papers accepted for publication in the IEEE Transaction on Magnetics will be charged with 100 EUR IEEE publication fee.

* The registration fee includes:

  1. Access to all technical sessions an exhibitions of the conference;
  2. Seated buffet lunches and coffee breaks at the conference hotel (Hotel Hilton);
  3. Welcome reception in the evening on Sunday 30 June 2013;
  4. Conference dinner;
  5. A 2-year membership of the International COMPUMAG Society (if registered as a non-ICS member);
  6. A conference bag.

** The accompanying registration fee includes:

Best Student Papers

The organizers of COMPUMAG 2013 intend to encourage participation of young scientists from countries underrepresented at previous Conferences due to financial reasons. Depending on the quality of the submitted short papers, 10-15 student participants are planned to be sponsored by free participation or by significantly reduced registration fees. Granted participants will be selected by the Editorial Board and the Board of the International Compumag Society (ICS) based on the evaluation of the 2-page short papers and the affiliation of the authors. Any student who is the corresponding author of a paper can apply for the sponsorship with his/her paper. In case of a successful application, the granted student must personally present the selected paper at the conference.

Please note that first you have to upload your 2-page short paper to the ConfTool system where your paper will get an ID. When you apply for the Best Student Papers Grant, this paper ID must be entered as well. One short paper can be used for one application only.

Methods of payment, confirmation and invoices

or by major credit cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard) to be arranged during the secure online registration. A pro forma invoice should be generated (pdf) in order to arrange any payment, wire transfer or credit card. The paid amount should appear in the paid coloumn in case of successful online payment. Manual card charges and bank wire transfers are to be credited in your "Paid" coloumn only after receipt payment.

Registrations which are not accompanied by appropriate payment, will not be honoured. Registrations and optional programme reservations will be acknowledged in writing. Confirmation is to be sent by the Secretariate to the email address of the registration (used during the registration), ONLY if a payment was made. Participants who paid the fee will be able to download a PAID INVOICE in pdf in their personal records within a week time after the receipt of payment, from the "My Invoices" menu after logging into the registration datebase.

Official final invoices and receipts for fees paid by the participants will be handed over on site at the registration desk. Congress bureau Diamond Congress Ltd. is responsible for collection of all charges; hence all financial issues are handled and confirmed by the congress bureau.

On site registration fees and optional programmes can be paid in Euro or in Hungarian Forint. Besides, credit cards listed above will be accepted. The organisers regret that cheques cannot be accepted, they should be cashed at the banks.

Terms and conditions of participation

Advance online registration is a condition of participation in the congress. During the online registration you should accept the terms and conditions of participation as well as the terms of cancellation written on this website. The registration fee/accompanying person's registration fee may include entertainment allowances, such as catering services, reception, public transport cards, etc.
In the final invoice the amount of these services will be indicated as intermediary service. Hotel accommodation orders (if any) are also subject of intermediary service. See also the general terms and conditions here.

Cancellation of registration

The cancellation policy for the conference is:

- Full refund before May 31, 2013
- No refund will be made after June 1, 2013

Cancellation of registration must be made in writing to this email, which will be confirmed by the Conference Secretariat. All refunds will be paid only after the conclusion of the Conference. As alternative to cancellation, please consider a transfer of your registration to another person.
